The small grassy area (the grassy area to the left of the pool) can be reserved for private parties. Several tables and chairs are available to use for the party. A gas grill is also available. Party request forms can be obtained from the lifeguards or you can download the form below.  The party feel is $25, and each non-member guest is charged $4. If the party is for more than the legal maximum number of guests (approximately 20), there is a charge for supplementary life guards. No amplified music is allowed.

Here are the steps you can use to reserve a party:

1. Check the website calendar for availability. You may also look at the book in the pool office. Please do not use the book in the pool office to reserve parties.

2. Send an email with your request to social@fairoaksrec.com. Please include your first and last name, the date and time you want to reserve, and a contact phone number. This email will serve to reserve your date and time in the event there is a conflict.

3. A board member will contact you to confirm your reservation.

4. Download and fill out the pool reservation form (PDF, 290KB).

5. Return the completed form along with the fee(s) to the pool’s mailbox.

6. Have a good time at the party!

Remember that parties are held in the small grassy area. The large grassy area may only be reserved by the FORA board (for pool events) and by the swim team. Your party may take place at the same time as another party (FORA/swim team) so be sure to check the calendar. If you have any questions, please contact social@fairoaksrec.com.
