Swim Test Information

Swim tests are managed and administered by the lifeguards at the pool. Please ask a lifeguard on duty when the next swim test will be administered. Typically, swim tests are given during adult swim breaks.

The swim test requirements are as follows:

1. Swim one length (25m) of the pool unassisted.
2. Tread water for one (1) minute.
3. Recite the pool rules (or if you are too young to read, have the guard read the rules aloud and repeat each rule).

To the member:

Upon passing the swim test, you will be given a blue band. Swim bands are yours to keep and the first band is free. Please bring your band with you whenever you come to the pool. Bands are your responsibility.

Please note:

You must pass the swim test before you are allowed to use the diving well.

Children with a swim band (ages 9-12) may stay at the pool unaccompanied by an adult until 6pm.
